Sauer’s 101 Classic XT is a modernized version of the original, the 101 Classic. Its most notable upgrade is its practically indestructible polymer stock in the ErgoMax shape for comfort and a rubber butt pad to help mitigate recoil. The grip features a symmetrical palm swell that fits naturally in the shooter’s hand, and Soft Touch Coatings delivers better control over the rifle in adverse conditions. To guarantee a sub-MOA level of accuracy, the barrel is precisely made using a special cold-hammer forging process, and the trigger features an extra wide shape and delivers a crisp pull of 2 lbs. Other features of the 101 Classic XT include a receiver manufactured using the latest CNC milling technology, and Sauer’s exclusive Ever Rest bedding technology. In addition, the 101 Classic XT is outfitted with a Dura Safe direct firing pin safety and a loaded chamber indicator.
